Gillian Wearing and Out of Focus exhibitions


On Tuesday I went to two exhibitions “Gillian Wearing” at the White Chapel Gallery and “Out Of Focus” at the Saatchi Gallery. Both exhibitions were really good and interesting, I would recommend both to go and see.

A highlight for me at the Gillian wearing exhibition was the film “Bully” (2010) which is very powerful and emotional. It really showed that the effects of bullying can be left with a person for years and effect their everyday life.

A highlight at the Out of focus exhibition was David Benjamin Sherry’s work. The colours and the sizes of the images worked well, in making them beautiful images.
